Islamophobia is completely out of control, being propagated by Parliamentarians, editors and journalists. It is resonant of the antisemitism of the 1920s and 30s. Terrifying.

This is SO stupid, let me count the ways:
1. 2013 was the height of the US occupation and 'democracy'
2. Even in 72, still the Kingdom, Afghanistan was an Islamic country
3. These women were a minority of a minorty in AFG even in 70s
4. Why reduce women anywhere to just clothes?

1.7 M #AfghanRefugees including women who sought refuge from Taliban are forcefully being deported from Pakistan. No education & job, removal from public spheres, safety threats and constraints on movement are among challenges that await #AfghanWomen refugees.

It's a pleasure to be at the Kazz the Women PeaceMakers programme. In the upcoming two weeks, I'm excited about the opportunity to collaborate and gain insights from my fellow #peacebuilders from Iran 🇮🇷 and Burma 🇲🇲, and share my experiences with students and faculty.

It was great to attend the #TechWomen event at the World Bank in Washington DC. So inspired to learn how companies drive for #genderequality through #education and #entrepreneurship , including provision of access to #digitalskills to women in conflict-affected countries.
