Last weekend in Lisbon I saw numerous references in the city to 25 April 1974, marking the 50 years since the end of fascism. A stark reminder of the importance of defending democracy today, especially in light of the upcoming #EU2024elections

Ukraine's reform & investment strategy offers a solid basis for a more modern, prosperous Ukraine, on its EU path.

The European Commission's endorsement of the Ukraine Plan today is a big step forward.

It paves the way for regular payments under the €50 billion Ukraine Facility.

Well done - Ukraine needs Patriots as soon as possible to protect cities, civilians, key infrastructure including ports. Also important to deploy close to the front line.
