Everyone should tune in on the 20th. How is the Alberta Energy Regulator protecting Albertans via deposits. Less than 1% of the publicly available liability summary data collected. While internal liability estimates are 4 times HIGHER.

The only protecting I see is for industry.

My fellow Canadians:

Please question what β€œresponsibility produced” oil and gas actually means to industry & government & demand it.

In fact many of the oil & gas fields of Alberta and Saskatchewan are a BIG MESS & many operations are irresponsibly illegal/unsafe.

Brian Jean Here’s my thread on terribly poor planned board of director appointments. Albertans need to get loud on the need for proper AER reform.

Time for urgent reform at Alberta Energy Regulator. Transparency is non-negotiable, and Albertans deserve better. It's time to revoke the license to mislead and prioritize accountability.

This official Green Party of Alberta policy is over two years old and separates us from the entitled parties that have failed to overcome the corruption of the Alberta Energy Regulator. 1/4

Targets obviously too low for currently high commodity prices then.

Maybe a regulator could foresee the obvious and push industry to do more than they were going to do anyway?

But you're not a regulator are you, .Alberta Energy Regulator?
