Our roundtable was a success. From dynastic trees to reform movements, dream narratives to peace treaties, nuances of sectarianism (and its absence) to constitutional movements, we brought attention to a range of topics under the framework of Ottoman-Persian interactions. #AHA24

On the 2nd day of #AHA24 , join our roundtable on Ottoman-Persian interactions. I proposed this roundtable to bring us in exploring the dynamic flow of ideas, people, and commodities across Ottoman and Safavid/Qajar realms, highlighting the often negligible impact of borders.
