The fourth location for the TXST library was in the J.C. Kellum building from 1969-1990. By this time the number of students had grown to 9,372 and the library grew to encompass the entire building. #txst 125 #txst

One library is no longer enough for TXST. In 2005, the Round Rock Campus Library opened in Avery 255 and in September 2017, the Archives and Research Center, a massive preservation library housing more than 600,000 items, opened at Star Park. #txst 125 #txst

Continuing to chronicle the history of TXST libraries in celebration of National Libraries Week and the university's upcoming 125th anniversary, we showcase the third campus location. From 1939-1969, the library was in Flowers Hall and served 1,371 students. #txst 125 #txst
