A while ago I did a 3D alignment of the photos of the damaged Apollo-13 SM, recently I processed the dataset through a Gaussian splatting algo and the resulting radiance field renders nicer than any polygonal version before.

As a young kid in school I was fascinated on how the world change in geography and climate. The history books where filled with wonderful information. Now that we have more brain power on our phones than Apollo13 we have no idea that the climate has been change since the Big Bang
