It’s important to talk directly to the citizens of Atlanta about what they want to see solved in our great city. As my team is planning the transition, what are some quick fixes (3 months or less) we can tackle? Use the hashtag #AskingAtlanta and let me know!
Kickin' pothole posse up a notch: ATL's next mayor wants to hear your quick fix infrastructure ideas at #AskingAtlanta
ATL Streetcar immediately comes to mind at BRN bit.ly/3qgVuzs
Andre Dickens i want to see the completion of this bike lane network promised by mayor bottoms that was never started. it could easily be finished in three months, it would be cheap to implement, and it would be transformative for atliens who bike and don’t use cars. #AskingAtlanta

Oh look, one of my requests from when he did the #AskingAtlanta campaign being fulfilled.
#AskingAtlanta Moreland Dr is not safe, clear overgrown weeds & garbage on sidewalks, fix damaged street lights & poles, replace speed signs, follow up on traffic study no. 1165710227 - pedestrians, APS students at bus stops & bike riders are at risk
Wait, I have more! Increase the pay for 911 operators. They’re so grumpy, maybe a raise will help. 😅 Improve sidewalks and streetlights on Marietta St. too. And for the love of all that is holy do SOMETHING about that Northside Dr. & Marietta St. intersection. #AskingAtlanta
Also the accidents in the past year have been soo bad. The excessive speeding is too much! #AskingAtlanta
A few more things! 311 should take calls on the weekend too. Install more benches so I have a place to safely tie my shoes on my walks. 😅 And increase hiring of mobile crisis workers to respond to mental health emergencies. #AskingAtlanta
First thing Andre Dickens can fix in 3 months, fix the management of HOPWA, ajc.com/news/atlanta-n…
Then figure out building in-house capacity for quick infrastructure projects including protected bike lanes and sidewalks.

@jboeke1 Andre Dickens It's actually been considered a success according to the city's data, so they're continuing with phase 2 out of 3! I'm glad to see the city actually doing these quick-fix projects #AskingAtlanta twitter.com/ThreadATL/stat…
Protected ped/bike lanes on unsafest streets, partners to 10x increase number of e-bikes available, & use funds to provide lower income households free transportation (MARTA, bike rental, and shared cars). Affordable housing needs affordable commutes. #AskingAtlanta
Allow ATLplus to issue traffic citations outside their existing limited geographic areas and allow them to cite vehicular violations blocking sidewalks, streetcar, & bike lanes. #AskingAtlanta
