Are you an autistic adult living in the UK?

I’m looking for autistic people to take part in research exploring how they experience medical language when it is used for autism.

Please contact [email protected] if you’re interested

Following my recent autism diagnosis, I have decided that I would like to be an 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤 autism researcher.

I plan to come out as autistic to my university & supervisors soon…

Any advice or guidance is very welcome.

Would any researchers or students like to join a virtual reading group*, discussing latest autism research? Currently a few of us from University of Sussex but hoping to expand.

*Not an exclusively autistic space but autistic-led & inclusive.

I have passed my MSc Psychology and want to publish my dissertation research project - the experiences of Black & Black mixed-heritage late-diagnosed autistic women. I have some in mind, but what would you say are appropriate journals to consider?
