Fantastic talk by Prof Parameswaran Nair on the role of mucus in asthma! CT mucus plugging associated with worsening ACQ, FEV1 & clinical symptoms. No significant changes with biologics. Airway clearance techniques are important treatments in addition to biologics! #BTSwinter2023

Great day at #BTSWinter2023 showcasing our data on the composite physiological index (CPI) in ILD.
➡️ CPI adds prognostic value, over and above individual lung function parameters in a range of ILDs.
➡️ CPI needs to be incorporated into PFT reporting and tracked longitudinally.

Unplanned hospital visits can be stressful at the best of times so this preview gives a flavour of our upcoming film to prepare HMV patients before admission.
