Here are two colours of Wisterias in our neighbourhood🇬🇧. I just can't resist their beauty so I took these photos to share. Wisterias only show their beauty once a year in April, and April is also the season bluetits leave their nests, singing like crazy...Oh, how grateful I am!

We sneaked a very quick peek inside our homemade nest box, and were delighted to see that there's at least 2 baby bluetits, nestled under their Mum.

Good news. The streetlight Bluetits still have babies. Here’s one of the adults leaving the nest having just dropped off some food.

Great news. The bluetits which are nesting in the street light are still going in and out with food. I managed a couple of shots of the male (I think) this evening.

Despite the clouds, I am having my first #HammockLife day of 2024.

I am lounging in the hammock with a coffee, a book and birdsong. Merlin tells me I have blackbirds, robins, goldfinches, chaffinches and bluetits.

A day of cancelled plans as I am not well today. I am combining nap time with #HammockLife today and dozing in the garden under a duvet whilst reading and listening to the birds—greenfinches, blackbirds, bluetits, wood pigeons, sparrows, robins & goldfinches.
