Hindustani guitarist #BrijBhushanKabra (1937–2018) was born on 26 June in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Along with #HariprasadChaurasia and #ShivkumarSharma , he made the essential Call of the Valley (about which I have written extensively). That music changed many lives.
RIP Pt. #BrijBhushanKabra -- the first #Indian #classical musician to adapt the guitar strings innovatively and tune #raga on #guitar . I wiill miss his magnificent guitar alaps which will continue to remain phenomenal forever.
