👋 So long, crumb rubber! Crews have finished removing the entire 12 year-old turf from Victory Field. Installation of the new 'BrockFill' turf is expected to begin soon and be completed by mid-August.

Substituting alternative infill for tire crumbs does NOT make plastic athletic fields safe or healthy.

The grass is still plastic & every infill is problematic.

For ex, Brockfill wood chips get slippery when wet & shred skin.

Students NOT happy.
