Chrissy Knight-O’Connor Cave Archaeology This magnificent reindeer antler set was uncovered in 1861 near Ashbourne, Co. Meath when life in Ireland was a lot colder about 11,000 years ago. Glaciers returned and vegetation collapsed, then it warmed again and we turned up.
