Moth trapping at Watercress Farm, Belmont Estate overnight has produced in excess of 40 species so far. I do love the peace & solitude of walking the traps an hour or so before dawn. Species & some pics will follow in due course. Time to listen to the dawn chorus. 😀

In 1869 crowds flocked Clevedon (Somerset) to witness the opening of its pier. But a century later it succumbed to dwindling numbers and decay, eventually collapsing into the Bristol Channel. The fact it has survived to see its 150th birthday is down to its diehard supporters.
