A belated RIP (we just heard of it tonight) to 1988 Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Odell Jones who passed away at the age of 71 a few weeks ago on March 20th. Odell ended his career and threw a one hitter during his time in Milwaukee.

Happy 38th birthday to 2010 and 2018-2022 Milwaukee Brewers center fielder Lorenzo Cain. A 17th round pick by the Crew in the 2004 draft, Lorenzo turned into an All-Star and Gold Glove winning outfielder during his 13 year career which both started and ended in Milwaukee.

After a week off with no action I was really glad to see Pat Murphy’s Wrecking Crew get into another bench clearer last night. About time!

Happy 34th birthday to 2017-2019 and 2021 Milwaukee Brewers third baseman Travis Shaw. The Mayor of Ding Dong City hit 76 bombs and drove in 231 during his 4 seasons in Milwaukee including back to back years of 30 plus home runs during his first two seasons with the Crew.
