2nd #risankizumab infusion along with an iron infusion. Still in a flare (6+months) but still hopeful this treatment will start to work. Exhausting but the show must go on. #CrohnsAndColitisAwarenessWeek
It’s #CrohnsAndColitisAwarenessWeek ! Crohn’s is one of the reasons why I’ve been taking such a long break. Besides bathroom issues, there’s chronic fatigue, joint pain, weight loss, regular colonoscopies, and much more. I’m in remission, but it’s an ongoing battle. ❤️

I was diagnosed in 2014, first surgery in 2016 and many more since. Surgery helps but sadly isn’t a cure, I still take 12 medications a day and live with a permanent ileostomy bag. I’m alive because of my incredible surgeons and specialist nurses! #CrohnsAndColitisAwarenessWeek
