Great to attend the DCU Centre for Climate & Society conference on the theme of climate justice across generations. In her keynote address, Mary Robinson said we are on the cusp of a clean energy, safer, fairer world, but we're not moving fast enough - we need connection to get there #DCUClimate2024

Looking forward to an action packed day as Diarmuid Torney introduces #DCUClimate2024 DCU Centre for Climate & Society
We’re here today at #DCUClimate2024 . An inspiring start from Former President of Ireland and Chair of The Elders Mary Robinson who spoke about the importance of a long-term perspective and a need to move away from populist solutions and to listen more to 'science and reason'.
What a day, so much food for thought. The conference ranged from policy to business to media and with a thread of humanity and poetry throughout. Thanks to everyone who made it such an engaging day. #DCUClimate2024
It was a great day at the DCU Centre for Climate & Society annual conference. Fantastic panels and speakers with very thought provoking discussion. Well done to all the organisers #DCUClimate2024
At the Climate Conference with #MaryRobinson - I wanted to ask her about climate fatigue and if climate change is having an image problem- didn't get to me, #DCUClimate2024
The #DCUClimate2024 was a great event to talk about Climate Justice Across Generations, especially to rethink what legacy we want to leave and how we would like to be remembered by future generations.
Hopefully, as a generation that didn't give up even after lots of adversities.
The first panel discussion on climate justice, policy & inequality was excellent.
Great to hear ClarePPN given a shout out!
Standing ovation for the children and young people of the 2nd panel - heartwarming & ambitious!

Mary Robinson speaking at #DCUclimate2024 about climate justice. “We need to spend our children’s and grandchildren’s money now or they won’t have it in the future.” She says we need leadership and urgency.
