The U.S. has been following developments of the recent dzud - Mongolia’s worst weather related disaster in over a decade. I announced to PM Oyun-Erdene today that USAID is releasing an additional $700,000 (MNT 2.3 billion) to support 2000 more households affected by the dzud.
