Chief Finance Officer Kevin Curnow told #ELFTBoard that this year the Trust will make a £4m surplus at end of year despite the cost of industrial action. At the same time the Trust invested £17m on capital projects.
#ELFTBoard heard that next year the Trust needs to find £29m savings. Chief Finance Officer Kevin Curnow said the main focus will be on reducing agency staff, cutting private bed use and increasing productivity.
