So important in highlighting the vital role that the third sector plays in supporting local communities #essentialsector
#Keepthebeatalive was launched last week by VASLan Third Sector Interface. Such an important campaign to highlight just how indispensable the third sector is and what a crucial role they have in helping communities in South Lanarkshire and Scotland. #EssentialSector

We've made progress on recognition of our sectors importance to Scotland but still have a way to go. Our #EssentialSector doesn't have time for government reflection and instead needs to experience the delivery of commitments - esp when so many still await their promised funding.

If you're a public sector leader who has committed funding to the third sector, I urge you to check that your commitment has turned into a payment. TSOs will have had at least one payroll run since the new financial year, but not all have their promised ££ yet🙏 #EssentialSector
