#OTD 14 June 1982, Sqn Ldr Peter Harris led a pair of #Harrier GR3s on a laser-guided bomb attack against Argentine positions on #SapperHill when the mission was cancelled due to white flags flying over #Stanley . The #FalklandsConflict was over. #Falklands40

#OTD 13 June 1982 saw the final Argentine air attacks and the last engagement when a #Canberra bomber was successfully shot down by #HMSCardiff ’s #SeaDart missile. Post-engagement, the aircraft spiralled into the sea, killing the navigator. #Falklands40
