Today marks the forty-year anniversary of the liberation of Port Stanley from Argentine forces. Many brave British soldiers died in the quest to free the Falklands from foreign occupation.

Today Falkland Islanders live and thrive in peace and freedom.

Forty years since British soldiers liberated Port Stanley we remember with pride all those who served and died freeing the Falkland Islands from foreign occupation.

Because of them, Falkland Islanders today live and thrive in peace and freedom.
