Just learned that one of my Simmons relatives, Rufus Simmons, was selected to build the Central School (now Victor Scott), bc he had one of Bda's largest Black owned contracting companies at the time. It was started it in 1926 and finished in 1931. #FamilyHistory #BermudaHistory
