It is time to provide a real solution to poverty.

We support Bills C-223, An Act to develop a national framework for a guaranteed livable basic income, and S-233, the identical Senate bill.

We believe will reduce gender inequalities in 🇨🇦.

In my honest opinion:

We need an adequate disability support system before a GLBI.

With MAID's coercion exclusively targeting vulnerable disabled people, that's who needs to be prioritized in helping first and foremost. ASAP.

Then and only then can we expand to GLBI.

Why do I support ? Because the alternative is people believing we need to decrease Employment Insurance premiums and that will keep it affordable.

Anyone else notice the premium rates?

Got another mass email from the NDP on their partisan GLBI motion.

The day after the abysmal Canada Disability Benefit budget was announced.

No wonder Singh couldn't say whether or not he was voting for the budget yesterday, he's still mentally stuck on his partisan motion.

🥴 Disabled people were just pawns to move this ahead weren't we?

'CDB proposal isn't enough, we need a GLBI'

*Glazing over the people currently being coerced to use MAID with no adequate disability supports available*

If the NDP passes Budget 2024 with the $200/month CDB, they are telling the public 2 things:

1) NDP doesn't care about disabled lives

2) NDP is willing to keep using disabled people as pawns, actively keeping them starving/suffering so NDP more of a campaign on their GLBI

When people received CERB, they were more likely to spend locally. Most small businesses are self-funded, and the dwindling middle-class means less entrepreneurship.

A could benefit small and local businesses, fostering healthier neighborhood economies.
