Quiet day for the #GreatSaltLake
Bear river inflows have decreased this week over 1,000cfs, while the Weber has increased by a couple 100cfs, Jordan holding around 2,200cfs. GSL gauges holding steady 4195', while Bear Lake is climbing still, 5919.46'.
Its #NationalShrimpDay today, and we're celebrating Utah's favorite crustacean, the brine shrimp!
Around 10 million birds of over 250 species pass by the Great Salt Lake every year and brine shrimp act as fodder for many of these migrating birds as they refuel.
