When's the last time you defrosted your lab freezer? We used to do that every December in grad school! I don't have much in my fridge currently but my freezer was full of ice. Don't forget to dust the coils :-)

At least I don't use water for condensers or suction filtration... If I estimate 1 h to distill and 10 min to filter for each of the 21 pairs of student working in one section, that would be another 6300L/section, 56700L/week!!

I only use tap water for washing glassware in my lab. If I estimate that one section washes glassware for 20 min during their 3 h lab period at all eight sinks, that's 1920 L/section! I have nine sections/week using the lab in Fall, 17280 L/week?! ๐Ÿ˜ญ
