Our computing lesson this week has focused on creating patterns, shapes, lines to create music using ChromeLab! 🙌🏻 The children are linking music and use of audio within computing to the work that Mr P does when he creates podcasts 🙌🏻🙌🏻 #Computing #HCPSComputing
So nice to see Project Evolve forming part of our computing lessons! 🙌🏻 #OnlineSafety - It was AMAZING to see computing across the whole of Hoyland Common Primary right from EYFS up to Year 6! Children could articulate what they were learning VERY well! HCPS-Year1 #HCPSComputing

Year 3 had their first attempt at using Canva in Computing today. They loved trying to add text and pictures. Why not set up a free account at home to try it out? canva.com

This week we have unpicked the theory behind some of the coding jargon! We used 2D shapes to identify errors in an algorithm, then we applied this to purposely create errors in our own algorithm. Looking forward to Tuesday’s session to debug these 👍🏼 #hcpscomputing
It was brilliant to see parents in school too! We hope you found it useful! #HCPSComputing #OnlineSafety
