Doubled down in the second reading today! Rep Soper and I passed HB24-1010, protecting patients needing infusion treatments from delayed care. And HB24-1176 with Rep Hamrick confirmed funds for the Crisis and Acute Care Center build by Aurora Mental Health in HD41!

Just saw the provisional results for HD41. Obenshain’s 1000 vote lead dropped down to 183. Virginia Tech made it a much closer race than expected. A strong performance in Roanoke county is ultimately what saved him.

🇺🇦North Carolina Mapper🇺🇦 HD41 there is absolutely flippable in 2024. SD13 could be by 2028 and SD36 by 2030.

Next is one of the harder seats to handicap, HD41, in SW VA. The LG R+10 Trump+1 is LEAN R. It comes down to candidate quality differential as Franklin-D is reportedly outworking Obershain-R. Franklin has a significant money lead but partisanship is tough to overcome.

I like to call Virginia's #HD41 'Blacksburg vs The World.' This southwest Virginia-based district is anchored by the college town of Blacksburg and a big win out of there is the only way the Dems win this one this year, which they might.

Here is a look at TN House results by precinct. The playing field narrowed as a majority of districts were unopposed. Beyond unsuccessful incumbent Windle in HD41 (covered by Lucas Brooks),independents also won boxes in Shelby & Hamilton where major-party opponents were absent.

TODAY: our next 'Turn Out the Vote Thursday”; drop by any time 4-7pm at IX Park (Brazos Tacos lawn) to make calls for Lily Franklin (HD41 candidate whose work for Josh Throneburg impressed). We wrote 500+ postcards to newly-registered voters our past 2 meetings, and on we go!
