Visited the beautiful exhibition of Nandalal Bose's Haripura Panels at the National Gallery of Modern Art, Bengaluru. The display was nicely put together, a must visit if you enjoy art and history.

This Independence Day, sharing an interesting piece of history. In 1938, Calcutta Mayor AKM Zakaria felicitated Subhas Babu for being elected as Congress Party's youngest President at Haripura. Venue was Calcutta's elite restaurant Firpo's, attended by SP Mookerjee among others.
