After learning about primary colours, in @IEYC, we explored the work of artist Pier Mondrian, known for his use of squares, rectangles, and primary colours. We engaged in a fun competition to assemble Mondrian-style puzzles crafted artwork inspired by his unique style!

We were treated to a sparkly science spectacular in the science lab. In line with our IEYC topic Once Upon a Time, our Science Department put on a magical show of fireworks,invisible ink,sparkling fire and exploding elephant toothpaste.We were mesmerised! HELP International School IEYC

This morning kG1 and KG2 had their Entry point for their new IEYC unit, Once Upon a Time.
The children had a special visitor who came to read them a story. The visitor was Winne. She is a witch and lives with her called Wilbur. The story she read was all about her.

Last week for #IEYC , we learnt about volcanoes and how it looks like on the inside. Our experiment with baking soda and vinegar was a success!

Extra tip: Mix cocoa powder with baking soda to make a chocolate-smelling volcano. The students loved it!

Another fantastic Learning Journey for the end of our IEYC and IPC Units! Our Learning Journey Days are made so much better because of the amazing parent participation that we have.

Today, we explored bees! 🐝 We enjoyed a buzzy story, then shared what we knew about bees. With bee hats on, we enjoyed watching Amalina 's home hive video. We tasted her yummy honey, too! Also, we played 'Musical Flowers', buzzing around like busy bees! 🌼 IEYC

KG1 and KG2 went on a trip to the aquarium as an exit point for their IEYC topic ‘Ocean Treasures’. They enjoyed seeing all the different sea creatures and were so excited to see a diver in the tank!🤿🐠

Shhh, dinosaurs are hatching! The children have worked hard on our class display. They used Papier-mâché to make dinosaur eggs. We then painted dinos together. Thank You Rachael Helen Cruickshanks for putting this together.IEYC HELP International School HIS Preschool
