Stephen Kenny merits his job 100% but maybe people underestimated the job Mick McCarthy was doing? Not for the first time either.

If Stephen Kenny insists on a high-pressing, possession-based 4-3-3 in every game, with unsuitable centre-backs and no natural six to protect them, failure is all but guaranteed. He must consider compromising his principles to survive.

Molumby looks really great for Ireland. Impressed with his range of passing, and perhaps unlike some youngsters coming through, is already robust and physical enough to deal with league football. Think he can offer a lot.

Ireland have reached the World Cup qualification play offs for the first time in their history!

Lily Agg scored the crucial goal in a 1-0 home win over Finland to secure their spot. 🇮🇪

James Collins, the day after hitting an opening day hatty, sitting at home watching this Ireland game knowing the manager reckons there’s 3 or 4 Irish strikers better than him.

Irish public has no patience with football: Kenny will be blamed despite the fact that his talent pool is tiny, and the youngsters coming through aren't quite ready.
What he needs is two years minimum for the team to adjust & evolve. We need to swallow some bad results.
