As the school year comes to a close this week, I am reflecting back to last Friday when I had the opportunity to address the IS126Q graduating class. It was my honor as we conclude our 12th full school year there working on our cradle to college to career pipeline.

We had a great day volunteering in #Queens ! Wells Fargo #NYC Signature Day of Caring with CityYearNewYork to support IS126Q. Transforming a school for 630 students, the staff, and community. #WFVolunteers

Many thanks to NYPD 114th Precinct & NYPD Housing PSA 9 for their support to IS126Q a few days before Halloween about keeping safe and all the amazing programs they have for our students. We appreciate you, thank you Deputy Inspector Gorman and the team.

Last week we had the opportunity to host NYPD Housing PSA 9 Det. Thompson at IS126Q to present on some of the supports that the PSA 9 team provides to students and families living in public housing specifically NYCHA Astoria, Ravenswood & Queensbridge Houses. Thank you for all you do!

Last week we had the pleasure at IS126Q to host NYPD 114th Precinct Deputy Inspector Kenneth Gorman and his team to talk about the amazing youth programs available to young people in Astoria & Long Island City. Check out some of the pics from the day below.
