Delighted to welcome #ITUTDAG members to Geneva to review priorities, strategies & operations, and to advise ITU Development on the ongoing implementation of the Kigali Action Plan adopted by #ITUWTDC , and ensure universal & #MeaningfulConnectivity for all!

Yesterday marked a full day of plenaries and discussions where #ITUWTDC delegates made fruitful contributions towards the WTDC Action plan to connect the unconnected and bridge the digital divide.

President Kagame has arrived at the opening of #ITUWTDC , being held under the theme ‘Connecting the unconnected to achieve sustainable development’. WTDC provides a platform for stakeholders to develop innovative approaches to achieve affordable, inclusive universal connectivity.

The Hon. Deputy Minister of Information, communication & Technology #Namibia , Emma Inamutila Theofelus has been selected as the Laureate for the UN Population Award 2022.

Inamutila received the #UNPopAward , from #Rwanda where she is attending the #ITUWTDC held in Kigali.

The Network of Women (NoW) in the Telecommunication Development Sector (ITU-D) has arranged for a walkathon during the #ITUWTDC . We invite you all to join and connect at the #Walk2Connectsports
