UPDATE: As of 1PM, almost 30,000 jobseekers turned up in DOLE’s Labor Day Job Fair across 97 venues nationwide. 1,797 were hired on the spot. A total 226,217 job vacancies are up for grabs but any unfilled positions will still be open to applicants thru local employment offices.
