We can’t imagine NYC without the 125,000 human service workers who build and support our communities daily - that’s why our LiveOn NY team is standing together on this #DayWithoutHumanServices to call on Mayor Eric Adams to #JustPay human services workers in the City budget!

Non-profit orgs provide so much for our city but many of their workers are woefully underpaid. As a matter of equity, we are calling on City Hall to address the significant wage disparities between nonprofit contracted workers and their gov't/private sector counterparts. #JustPay

Non-profit workers have consistently provided essential, lifesaving services during times of uncertainty. They supported our city through pandemics, hurricanes, and, most recently, during the air quality crisis.
