Responding to an urgent call, Fast Interceptor Craft (FIC) from INS Kardip & Interceptor Boat from ICGS Kamorta rushed to rescue an individual adrift in open waters.🌊🚢 After a rigorous 2 hour search, the crew of the FIC safely recovered & transferred the person to CHC Kamorta.

With profound grief & heavy heart, we regret to inform sad demise of Lt Cdr Sukumar Bhattacharjee, NM (Retd) on 21 Jan 24. He was commissioned into Indian Navy on 31 Mar 67 & retired on 30 Nov 82. During his career, he served at INS Netaji Subhash, INS Jarawa, INS Kardip & WEUs.
