- 85% of our revenue comes from local property taxes
- 12% is going to the state to pay recapture
- 57% of the budget is dedicated to instruction

#LISDBoard approves Instructional Materials adoption despite a $2.3M budget gap. The Instructional Materials & Technology Allotment was $5.4M less than expected. Main expense: kits designed for the student engagement needed to meet new Science TEKS.

During the #LISDBoard meeting, trustees approved the food service contract with Southwest Food Excellence #sfe . Meal prices will remain the same for the next school year.
