#LetWomenSpeakBelfast great speakers! Have a a difficult couple if months but went on my own and got home safe and sound. Looking forward to the next one when I might feel a bit more like socialising! Thanks to all the organisers.

There were two counter events to Sunday’s #LetWomenSpeakBelfast rally. One noisy, aggressive and seeking to disrupt the women’s event was mostly attended by men. The other was peaceful and separately located and mostly attended by women with uncovered faces.

I just wanted to reach through the screen and hug this amazing woman, then Kellie-Jay Keen came and cuddled her while she spoke and I cried. The crowd cheered loudly and I cried again. She was fantastic.
