It's never too early to watch for & protect #reptiles (and other wildlife) on roadways. #Turtles & #snakes are already active in southern Ontario, including #LongPoint and #LakeErie regions. This Painted Turtle likely just emerged from a nest or overwintering site. Now it's dead.
