BUT - some of the highest pollution is just outside the LEZ, in Haymarket. Modelling predicts that pollution might increase on the LEZ boundary.

Glasgow Council has just identified buses as being the main source of NOx pollution along the main bus routes, responsible for 70+% of the emissions.
Will CEC be testing the buses in the LEZ?
It's one month until we start enforcing the #LowEmissionZone in the city centre on 1 June.
- Check your vehicle meets the standards
- Blue Badge holders with vehicles that don't meet standards can apply for an exemption
- Find routes that avoid the zone

It applies to all types of vehicle entering the city centre zone.
