They’ve been training on the RODET (Roll Over Drill Egress Trainer).

This training enables our team to rehearse extraction from a vehicle in the event of a roll.

For #LtCav soldiers, Jackal is our primary vehicle but sometimes it’s more appropriate to park the vehicles up and deploy via aviation. For a #WessexStorm nighttime raid on an enemy position we deployed forward 80km in Chinook in order to maintain surprise and operate dismounted.

The countdown is underway.

We’re in overwatch, observing.

We’ve been told that they’re making a list, and checking it twice…
