This school binding has a beautifully patterned leather with a supralibros of the Collège episcopal de Bruges on it. The edges, the cover and the endpapers are beautifully decorated.

This #MarbledMonday we're sharing William Blake's 'The Marriage of Heaven and Hell' in a facsimile edition published by the Trianon Press in 1960 for the William Blake Trust. This pattern can be called Octopus or Whirl and was likely not created until the 20th century.
