Yesterday was #WorldHeritageDay (guess who missed it - doh!). The fort at Maryport is in a great location, with views to Scotland and the Isle of Man. The stonework is long gone – used to build parts of the town/docks but its footprint is still clearly visible.

Maryport and Flimby being used in the new Fontaines D.C. music video is something that is excellent to see

Maryport Special Assignment - Did a secret shopper to compare the Golden Lion Hotel and the Lifeboat Inn. Both beverages rank average ~ 6.4/10, but a whopping 27% price difference, the Lifeboat much the cheaper. As Vic Reeves would say “ very poor indeed”🙁
