Listen to Pam Harris and Kim Montague and start mathing in your classroom bc Ss should be thinking and reasoning about math. #MathIsFigureOutAble #MathStratChat
Check these fantastic contexts to help reason about this problem! Nice!

The golden ratio is a special number approximately equal to 1.618 that appears many times in mathematics, geometry, art, architecture and other areas.

Pam Harris Initially I thought of Kim Montague and 25% being close and using quarters. Then I played with factors as I like finding 11% of things

Last week I learned from Danika Murray to scale down to scale up! I immediately noticed that half of 27 is 13.5 and if I scaled up, I could get close to 1323! #mathstratchat
Pam Harris Diff of squares:
(40 - 6)(40 + 6) = 1600 - 36 = 1564 #IHYN
Also, I can use an Over Strat (see pic)
