I asked Minister O’Gorman repeatedly to explain why he is excluding nearly 30,000 survivors from #motherandbabyhome compensation scheme. He didn’t give me an answer.

Whether it's the #MotherAndBabyHome survivors or #mica homeowners, this Irish government is determined to make people's lives as hard as possible all in the name of saving money 'that could otherwise be spent meeting the needs of today...'. It's cynical, vile, and cruel.

Was 15 when I found out I was pregnant and 15 when I had my eldest daughter in 1991, I concealed my pregnancy until I was 24 weeks pregnant because I was terrified of ending up in a #motherandbabyhome , the last #magdalenlaundry closed in 1996, the fear was real.

Breast milk is the best source of nutrition for most #babies . As the baby grows, the mother’s breast milk will change to meet her baby’s nutritional needs.
