Abortion rights continue to be a contested issue this election year.

Our British Social Attitudes survey shows the public agrees a woman should be allowed an #Abortion if she does not wish to have a child; this has been a consistent majority for three decades. #NatCenDataBites

Our appetite for redistributing income has tracked concerns about inequality for 35 years, though at a lower level.

During the pandemic both rose sharply, with support for redistribution nearing 50% - almost as high as in 1989.
