The GE Foundation’s #NextEngineers program is celebrating its monumental one-year anniversary! 🎉

We’ve worked with more than 2,500 students and over 200 volunteers to bring engineering to the next generation, providing hands-on exposure to engineering concepts and careers.

[WATCH] During his keynote address at the GE Africa #NextEngineers programme launch in Joburg, Gauteng Department of Education MEC Panyaza Panyaza Lesufi praised the innovation this programme will develop & how all partners involved are making an invaluable investment in the future of our province.

We are working to inspire the next generation of engineers. Funded by GE Foundation, #NextEngineers is increasing the diversity of future engineers by reaching girls and students from historically underrepresented groups.

Last week #NextEngineers : Engineering Camp invited 8th-10th grade students to Clemson University where they learned what #engineers do through exploratory activities. Together with Clemson faculty and staff, students where taught problem-solving, teamwork, and communication!
