An incredibly special sight. Big ocean wanderers - leatherback turtles - are rarely seen along the Nyinggulu coast, unlike other turtle species.

The humpback highway doesn't stop in #NingalooReef . Like many of Nyinggulu's visitors, humpback whales rely on #ExmouthGulf for a chance to feed, raise young, and shelter.

A diversity of marine life found on the Nyinggulu Reef are also seen in Exmouth Gulf. Critically endangered wedgefish have been found in Urala Creek, on the eastern side of the Gulf.
