My favorite group of dinosaurs are actually hadrosaurs and ornithopods in general, but I rarely draws them for some unknown reasons…Hopefully I can draw more this week. So here’s Parasaurolophus, Ornatops and Camptosaurus sketches for your day.

I love this fight, this is probably one of the very few cases if not only case of an intraspecific brawl between 2 ornithopods depicted and they are damn violent about it cuz iirc they referenced stallions fighting when animating this scene.

One of my favorite ornithopods. Dysalotosaurus tends to present something personal to me since in my beginnings of drawing I illustrated a lot of the animals of the Tendaguru formation.

With this little one, I begin a season dedicated to some of the fauna of the Tendaguru

Dinosaur tracks vary based on the species. Theropods had narrow, V-shaped footprints, while ornithopods had wider, rounded prints.

Here, a human discovers their hand is smaller than our tracks.

Why Ornithopods and Ceratopsians had those ossified tendon structures along the spine and tail? It helped to stiffen and strengthen them I know, but why? Dinosaurs like ankylosaurus and velociraptor have them for a specific purpose. And the much larger sauropods don’t have them.
