It was a pleasure to deliver a lecture today University of Aberdeen to their PGDE students. We talked about teaching with dyslexia and wider achievement in Scottish Schools. Overall an excellent reception and good experience!

Mr Smith Bus Ed Honest opinion re practical textbooks are limited. Wendy Watson is brilliant, with lots of videos etc online. I had used this one as Anne was my PGDE tutor but in terms of practical again is limited.

I have an idea to interview teachers in my school about how they physically get the job done. How do they assign seats? Hand out books, pens etc. Check everyone is on task. All those useful things nobody tells you on your PGDE.
