Our #SiteOfTheMonth for April is the pillbox on the Bann Mouth at Portstewart Strand. Sitting on the far western end of the beach, the structure was armed with a machine gun. With an effective range of 2000m it’s crew could place a curtain of devastating fire along the beach.
